A(H1N1)Flu: Health Alert Zero Nine

Wash your and your child's hands with soap and clean running water. Visit www.cdc.gov/h1n1 for more information.

With the alarming new case of virus, the Influenza A(H1N1)threatening the world’s health so fast right now, what can we possibly do to prevent from getting infected or just stay fit and healthy all the time?

Health Organizations are informing everyone as best as they can to do the necessary precautions and spread awareness check for our communities as well as the general check for health’s conditions of everyone in the family.

Since the virus is already in our country, and hopefully won’t spread anymore or won’t get any worst even though the flu was noted as pandemic already..

Let’s bear in mind these most important things we must do to have a healthy way of living. Here are some of the usual and constant reminders to keep ourselves away from any illnesses.

Cover your nose with a tissue when you sneeze. Visit www.cdc.gov/h1n1 for more information.

1. Keep our surroundings clean. That includes the proper waste disposal and the simple washing of hands with soap after doing any activities. Wash hands seriously. Meaning, make it at least 20 seconds until you’ve already finished singing the careless whisper, which is by the way is the countries most controversial song of the year. Cleanliness is our first line of defense to fight the illness

2. WLR. .keep watching, listening and reading news everyday, whatever updates we could extract from the news it will definitely help us. Keep posted. Awareness is one key for something to get prevented.

3. Maintain a healthy body and mind within you and those you’re living with because even simple colds should get an attention and the right treatment immediately.

4. Eat the right amount of food and right kind. We need to have a balance diet which includes more vegetables and fruits.

5. Be fit. The only thing we could lose with exercises are our flabs, I guess no one loves their extra fats, so if we really keep ourselves alive and kicking and we can maintain as fit as we can, there’s a big chance to make our body strong enough to fight any illness. How about a 20 minute walks every morning or at least twice a day. Or any kind of activities that we can stretch and get us sweat.

6. Finally, take as much as sleep as you can. For adults, of course it’s kind of difficult to have an ideal 7-8 hours of sleep but there’s always a push for trying and doing it.

Whatever virus or health problems may occur in our world, let us bear in mind that somehow human were all responsible for everything. And we are might being awaken for some message or lesson. Let us evaluate ourselves for whatever we are missing.

Remember, PREVENTION is always better than cure..

Stay home if possible when you are sick. Visit www.cdc.gov/h1n1 for more information.

Isang Hakbang..

Be part of this walk for a cause which is happening on June 07, 2009 (sunday) at Rajah Sulayman Park, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.

This annual event is a campaign and a fundraising of United Nations World Food Program with TNT, Unilever and DSM.

Starting point of your choice: From Manila Yacht Club or From US Embassy. Registration cost for only P150 with a tshirt, scarf and certificate of donation.

This is not just a simple walk for a cause, we can help and share what we have for those children in Mindanao who mostly can't get help because of the war they are experiencing there. We can help them to still have hope even in the midst of their surroundings full of anguish.

In a brighter side, we could have a great bonding with friends while doing this walk, and one way to stretch out, get sweat and lose some weight.

'A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step'.. Confucius.

Every single step we make, we become part of these childrens' lives.

To all my Mothers..You Are The Wind Beneath My Wings..

There's nobody who does everything better, be it a professional woman, a housekeeper, a wife, a friend. The kind of mothers I knew in my life. And even though I can't reach them all in this special occasion, my prayers will bring the love I have for them.
These women had been a mother to me in one way or another, in their own sweet and caring ways that touches my heart and soul.
The most precious diamonds that nobody can ever afford to replace anything or anyone in this world. All of you deserves more than a hug and a kiss but a whole lot of love.

Nanay. My Superwoman.
I was not just brought in this world by my biological parents. I am one of those who grew up with my grandparents. As what we used to say 'laking lolo or lola'.. count me in, i am one of them.
My Nanay, that's the way I call her since the day I felt she's a mother to me, she's a fighter, the best grandmother I always have. Until now I can feel That I am her favorite (excuse to all my cousins, *haha*) and she keeps treating me like a baby which by the way is what makes her the best to me. I love you 'Nay!

Mader.
I haven't been with her most of my life. But every time I am with her I can feel the love and care she shares with me. I know how much she takes good care of my father and siblings. Well, evidently enough is the way my family's healthy looks compared to me, I am petite, slim or rather sexy (haha). The coolest mama dear in the world. I love you Mader dear!

Mah Wilma.
How can I ever forget whenever I pretended to be asleep and she sneaks in to our bed and gives me a tuck. She makes sure every time I go home to Pampanga that food was all good and no matter what she's doing, she'll give her best to make me feel that I am really home.
That feeling of being so relax, just by having her around makes me wish I can always go home. I love you Mah!

Bot's Mame.
Not much that we could spend time together neither have time to talk alot. But I've known her more than enough to make me feel I have a mother in her. I am always happy she never forget to bring me banana (isang piling *haha). I love you Mame!

Miet's Nanay.
She possesses the simplicity of being a good person but a wonderful kind of mother. She gives more than she have and never bothers on material things this world offers. She's a woman with so much dedication and love. I am so lucky knowing and having her in my life. I love you Nanay!

Mama Mary.
Of course, we won't all be having great mothers without the most beloved mother of all. She's our precious mother who stands and guides us throughout. Thank you for being the best mother. to me and to all of us. I love you Mother Mary!

Happy Happy Mother's Day To All the Mother's In The World!!!

A Special Day To All the Mothers In The World

Mama. My Most Precious Gift From God

She sees everything. She gives anything.
She knows and feels all in me. She guides me every step of the way.

She cries when I cry. She laughs when I laugh.
She fights for me even if I am all down and lonely. She helps me to move forward.

The best with doing the budget, cooking, cleaning, washing, arranging, preparing, planning.
The best with upbringing a child like me in a monstrous world.

She stands beside me just to let me know I have someone in life’s battle.
I somehow owe her the life that I’ve been living.

And if I have to live my life without her I would honestly be empty.

Cebu Pacific Air

It was my first time to board on a plane and fortunately I had this experience with Cebu Pacific.

For our 4 days tour to Cebu – Bohol, we availed the Two-way promo they offered for 1,200 pesos. Fair fare huh!!

It was actually another option going to Cebu since there were no more seats available for a direct flight to Tagbilaran. So there it was, a Cebu-Bohol vacation in one.

I was a bit nervous since of course it’s my first time, but then I felt safe after awhile, especially when the attendants are nice and friendly. As well as when the crew started to show and teach us safety precautions and what to do in case of emergency stuffs.

Cool that Cebu Pacific also plays a game of ‘bring me’ but our seats are way near the tail so fat chance of beating those in front of us. But, anyhow, we still tried to join just in case. =) That’s another thing that made me feel at ease as my first time of flying.

Though I won’t advice buying foods at the plane because they’re quite expensive so better bring your own, anyway we had a one and half hour flight so no need for us to grab a food there.

Cebu Pacific offers a good price deals for their seats every now and then like we had instead of the regular fair of more than 3,000 pesos and we save as much as fifty percent of it. It’s good to check those promos rather than let the chance pass.

As what they says..

Its time everyone flies.. with http://www.cebupacificair.com/

BOHOL

How can I never fall in love with this land? It has all the beauty of nature, the best art I've ever laid eyes and an indescribable simplicity of life they embrace. I find serenity and peace whenever I close my eyes and think of this place. And if I am goin’ to have a chance again, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be but Bohol.

This was the best coffee experience i've ever had. I can't even finish my coffee because i was just mesmerized with the ocean, the sand, the sun, the instrumental sounds in the background, and the peacefulness of the place.
